Learn how to view and update your team settings in Huddleswim.
Accessing Team Settings
- Navigate to your team dashboard
- Click on "Settings" in the left sidebar
- Choose the configuration area you want to view or modify
Team Information Settings
Basic Team Details
View and edit your team's core information:
- Team Name: Official team name
- Team Abbreviation: Short code (maximum 6 characters)
- Team Type: Club, High School, College, or Other
- Team LSC: Local Swimming Committee (required for Club teams)
- Team Registration: Registration code (required for Club teams)
Address Information
Manage your team's location details:
- Address 1: Primary address line
- Address 2: Secondary address line (optional)
- City: Team's city
- State: Select from dropdown list
- Postal Code: ZIP/postal code
- Country: Select from dropdown list
Contact Details
Update communication information:
- Team Email: Official contact email for the team
- Primary Phone: Main contact number
- Secondary Phone: Additional phone number (optional)
Division Management
What are Divisions?
Divisions help organize your athletes into different competitive categories. They can be used for:
- Age groups (e.g., "8 & Under", "9-10", "11-12")
- Skill levels (e.g., "Novice", "JV", "Varsity")
- Training groups
Managing Divisions
Access division settings through Settings > Divisions:
- View All Divisions: See all existing divisions for your team
- Add New Division: Create a new division category
- Edit Division: Update division name and codes
- Division Codes: Set HY3 and EV3 codes for meet software compatibility
Division Fields
When creating or editing divisions:
- Name: Descriptive name for the division
- HY3 Code: 2-character code for HY-TEK software compatibility
- EV3 Code: 3-character code for Hy-Tek Meet Manager
Course Conversion Factors
Time Conversion Management
Configure automatic time conversions between different pool courses for accurate seeding:
- SCY to LCM/SCM: Convert short course yards times to meters
- LCM to SCY/SCM: Convert long course times to other formats
- Gender-Specific Factors: Separate conversion factors for male and female events
- Event-Specific Factors: Distance and stroke-specific conversion rates
High school teams automatically receive NFHS conversion factors. Other team types can add custom factors.

Editing Team Settings
How to Edit Settings
- Go to Settings from your team dashboard
- Click the edit icon (pencil) next to the section you want to modify
- Make your changes in the form
- Click "Save" to update your settings
Multi-Step Form
Team details are organized into steps:
- Step 1: Basic information (name, type, LSC, registration)
- Step 2: Address details
- Step 3: Contact information
You can navigate between steps or use the step parameter in the URL to jump to a specific section.
Team Deletion
Permanent Team Removal
⚠️ Warning: Team deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
When you delete a team:
- All team data is permanently removed
- All athlete records are deleted
- All meet results are lost
- This action cannot be reversed
Only use team deletion if you're certain you want to permanently remove all team data from the platform.

- Entry Deadlines: Standard deadline timelines
- Entry Limits: Events per athlete restrictions
- Scratch Procedures: Late withdrawal policies
