Seeding Relay Events

Create relay teams and assign swimmers to relay events.

Accessing Relay Seeding

1. Go to your meet details page
2. Click "Seed Events"
3. Select a relay event

Creating Relay Teams

1. Click an empty relay team row
2. Enter a team name (A, B, C, etc.)
3. Set heat and lane assignments if desired

Adding Athletes

Auto Seed

Select an empty relay team and click Auto Seed:

• Medley Relays: Selects 4 fastest athletes with times for each stroke
• Freestyle Relays: Selects 4 fastest freestyle swimmers

Requirements: Empty relay team and sufficient athletes with stroke-specific times.

Manual Selection

1. Select a relay team
2. Find athletes in the available list and click "Add to Relay"
3. Drag and drop to set swimming order

Swimming Order

200 Medley Relay (fixed order): Backstroke → Breaststroke → Butterfly → Freestyle

Freestyle Relays: Drag and drop swimmers to set positions (1-4).

Seed Times

Enter team seed times in MM:SS.HH format.

Troubleshooting

Auto Seed disabled: Need 4+ athletes with times for each stroke. Team must be empty.

Can't add athlete: Check entry limits or gender eligibility.

Can't change order: Select the relay team first, then drag/drop.
